Challenge coins and chocolate

VDG Lynne and I traveled to Weiser the first week of December to visit VDG Betty’s club. It was fun to present challenge coins to two deserving Lions, Linda Youngblood and Lois. They were both surprised and honored. After the meeting, VDG Betty pointed out the sign at Idaho Pizza, then we headed down the street a couple of blocks to Weiser Classic Candy, It’s not only Betty’s favorite shop, but much of Weiser’s as well-it was packed with holiday shoppers and with friends grabbing a cup of coffee.

Ringing bells

It was a really cold day when the Caldwell Lions stood in front of the Walmart Neighborhood Market ringing bells for the Salvation Army. We stopped in for some groceries and snapped this photo of Alex and Mary Esparza. Brrrr, it was so cold! Way to go, Lions, that’s serving from your warm hearts!

Christmas in Kuna

The Kuna Lions do Christmas big! Lion Santa leads the parade with his sleigh on top of a convertible filled with stuffed toys. Before that can happen, the Lions spends a few hours cleaning and sorting donated toys. VDG Lynne and I helped out with the stuffed critters.

It's taken me a while

Hi Lions! It's taken me some time to restart blogging Yes, that was me doing this 10+ years ago. I didn't have many followers then, but I certainly enjoyed writing. I've been posting whatever pops into my mind in our facebook group, but I wanted to expand to non facebook users. That’s what this is. I’m going to play catch up and post some photos from the last 6 months along with new content.  I hope you’ll check back often. Your comments are welcome. Just starting off with my Christmas card from IP Doug. Just because.
