The Burley Lions challenge to clubs

Recently, Lions District 39W was selected for a grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation to remodel the new Foundation and Eye Bank building on Cole Rd. in Boise.  The grant of approximately $39,000 requires the Foundation to match that amount.

To encourage participation and donations from all the Lions clubs, the Burley Lions issued a challenge.  For every donation made by the Lions clubs in the district, Burley Lions will match it, dollar for dollar, up to $20,000.  The only catch-clubs need to make their donation or pledge by Friday, March 4th.  That's tomorrow.

Has your club contributed?   Contact the Idaho Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation-today or tomorrow- with your pledge or check.  And a big thank you to Burley Lions.  No matter the final amount, you've stepped up in a big way for the Lions -and the people- of Idaho and E. Oregon!

  1. Burley Lions donated over $32,000 to help fund the remodel with 15 other clubs making donations as well! Together we can do so much!
